I noticed that Will Carless just wrote about the goats that Councilman Jim Madaffer and former Mayor Dick Murphy let loose in Tierrasanta. They hoped to use the hungry little beasts of burden more often to help protect the city from fire danger.
I’ve been waiting for a while to find a reason to dig up this old photo.
This photo was taken in April 2004 — only a few days after Madaffer and Murphy and the rest of the City Council had hired an accounting firm named KPMG for a routine audit of its financial situation.
