So I was just reading through the Blue Ribbon Fire Commission’s Report to the Governor, which was issued in the wake of the firestorms that hit San Diego in 2003.
I just like reading stuff like this. You never know what you’ll find in dry government reports.
I got to the first page of the report (if you ignore the page with the quote on it that says tragedies like the 2003 California firestorms are certain to repeat) and I glanced at the top of the page.
“Forward,” it said.
Now, as a relative veteran of reports, I’m pretty sure that the title of the foreword of a report should read: “Foreword.”
It was an inauspicious start.
