Here’s a copy of the proposed budget for the San Diego Unified School District for the fiscal year that starts in July. And here’s the accompanying PowerPoint presentation that will be given to the school board on Tuesday.

According to the presentation, the district will end the year with a $2.2 million surplus, and much of the extra money from the state will be used to pay for the rising cost of employee benefits, rising salaries and new classroom materials.
