The Los Angeles Times reports that the city’s recycling program has expanded to provide curbside pickup to apartments and condominiums.

The Times says:

Residents of apartment buildings and condominiums can start curbside recycling of household goods and products, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa announced Monday.

Under the new program, residents can dump recyclable goods numbered one through seven, as well as foam items, into recycling bins.

Plastic grocery bags, dry-cleaning bags and plastic hangers also can be recycled.

The city will supply recycling bins to those who sign up.
