Friday, July 20, 2007 | Folks, when you have a mayoral “Office of Ethics and Integrity” led by JoAnne SawyerKnoll, who learned the ropes as protege and head lawyer in the discredited regime of ex-school superintendent Alan Bersin’ at the public school district, you don’t need to worry about the punctuation in her Sunroad whitewash. If Mayor Sanders expects the public to have any confidence in him after this deal backfired, he will ask for the resignations of Jim Waring and Marcela Escobar-Eck for their roles in allowing Sunroad to build a too-tall tower at Montgomery Field. Period.
