Former state Sen. Steve Peace will present the completion of the “Vision for San Diego’s Waterfront” project he touted earlier this year at an event this afternoon.
In a press statement, the California Independent Voter Project, which conducted the study, will release its analysis of the plan Peace and county Supervisor Ron Roberts laid out in January. The plan includes new transit systems like light rail and water taxis to connect different points along the waterfront, from Chula Vista to Lindbergh Field.
The presentation will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn on the Bay, located at 1355 N. Harbor Drive.
