In our look at foreclosures by ZIP this week, we found 92057 in Oceanside to have the highest numbers of houses hit by foreclosure in the first half of 2007.

A consortium of real estate professionals, housing counselors, attorneys and the like will offer free help this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the library in Oceanside. (Registration required; check flyer below for details).

The monthly homeowner-counseling event travels all over the county, put on by the Housing Opportunities Collaborative. The next one is in Chula Vista on Sept. 29.
