Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007 | Well, today Dan Shea drops the other shoe and I request equal time to respond.

The bigtime Chargers’ backer and pricey steakhouse owner has become the hitman mouthpiece for the Aguirre haters. And Shea’s “opinion” in the voice — the second in two days — coincides with a Union-Tribune lead editorial ridiculously titled, “Landslide Mike.” When will it be enough? When will we decide to look at the tremendous problems of this city instead of trying to destroy the City Attorney who, alone among too many jerks and miscreants at City Hall, is honestly trying to do his job on behalf of the community?

It is Dan Shea in this column, who best fits his scurrilous description of Mike Aguirre: “… head turned in 360 degree circles … with little snorts and chuckles, steam trickling out of his ears … spewing some of the ugliest venom I have ever heard.”
