Here’s what to expect from us today: The television and radio stations are doing a great job of keeping you up-to-date with road closures, acres burned, school closures and evacuations, so we’re not going to be touching that.

Here in This Just In throughout the day we will be supplying you with the stories of the fire, brief vignettes of those evacuated, explanations of the conditions that allowed this to happen, details of the decisions being made by public officials, and whatever else our reporters come across throughout the day.
