Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008 | Regarding, “The Shrinking Union-Tribune: ‘Doing Less With Less‘” While it is true that the newspaper industry across the nation is struggling the U-T is accelerating it own demise.

As with many corporations, rather than cutting high salaried upper management editors the U-T is cutting it’s very life blood.

The top two editors that should go are Bob Kittle, who only attacks the people’s city attorney, Mike Aguirre, and Robert Caldwell who is living in the past with his vision of an imperialistic American empire. You could also throw in Chris Reid whose blog is so pitiful they have to advertise it in the “Insight” section of the Sunday paper.

The U-T needs to wake up. Most Americans today are middle road some lean a little to the left and some a little to the right. I have friends who ponder should they burn the paper before they read it or afterwards.
