City Attorney Mike Aguirre will deliver his own speech Friday on his “legal accomplishments and other issues critical to the people of San Diego, his office just announced.

The speech will come a day after Mayor Jerry Sanders will deliver his annual State of the City address.

Aguirre’s speech will be held at 3 p.m. at Council Chambers on the 12th floor of City Hall, which is located at 202 C. Street downtown. The mayor’s address will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at the recently renovated Balboa Theatre at 868 Fourth Ave.
