Starting next fall, San Diego high school students can earn community college credits while striving toward their high school diplomas. The Early College High School program will link students at San Diego High School’s leadership and arts programs to the nearby community college, focusing on at-risk students. A $173,400 grant supports the program.

San Diego Unified trustees ratified the agreement with San Diego City College on Tuesday night.
