Options and opportunity — that is what our work is really all about, and is what every child deserves to have. Our focus is access to college. As long as a student is in college track classes (only 36 percent of all students in California are, regardless of ethnicity) they can make the decision to go to community college, a four-year college, or a job training program once they graduate. The important thing is that they have access to the information necessary to plan for their future, and the chance to make the decision for themselves rather than being tracked out of higher education.
