Last night, while circling the floor during the mayoral debate, searching for photo-ops, I bumped into City Attorney Mike Aguirre. We exchanged niceties and moved on to do our respective jobs.
So, you can imagine my surprise when the city attorney debate started about an hour later and the stage featured only four candidates.
The moderator called for Aguirre to come to the stage, but by the time I left, about ten minutes into the debate, the city attorney was nowhere to be found. My esteemed colleague Andrew Donohue has put in a call to Aguirre to find out where he disappeared to. We’ll keep you posted.
