You know you want to read it. The San Diego County Airport Authority released a 438-page final environmental impact report today, detailing the impacts of a proposed Lindbergh Field expansion.

One quick highlight from skimming through it:

  • Page 101. San Diego City Councilman Kevin Faulconer (who represents the area around the airport) and the airport authority debate the interpretation of the failed Miramar ballot initiative.

Faulconer: “The search for a new airport location should and must resume.”

Airport folks: “Lindbergh Field is the region’s primary airport for the foreseeable future.”

Have a look. If you see something interesting in the document, e-mail me.
