The San Diego Union-Tribune‘s circulation has continued its decline, Editor & Publisher reports today, posting a 2.5 percent drop from a year earlier. That’s slightly less than what the nation’s newspapers averaged: 3.5 percent.

The local newspaper’s daily circulation on March 31 (averaged over a six-month period) was 288,669, compared to 296,331 on March 31, 2007.
