Friday, May 30, 2008 | I was very disappointed in Andrew Donohue‘s lead story in the voiceofsandiego.org this morning. The sensational headline may be a marketing gimmick but it is not reflective of what actually happened and Andrew’s words. Andrew points out in his article—if anyone reads down far enough — that others such as the council and our city attorney have prevented the mayor from accomplishing some of his goals. So why attack the mayor with a headline like this? It is sad that the Voice is compromising its normally fair and objective reporting with a misleading headline such as this one. This type of sensationalism will turn me away from the Voice.
