Tuesday, June 10, 2008 | Nothing Orwellian about a policy that states “an employee’s failure to comply with provisions of the Education Code, regulations of state and local boards of education, or district policies and procedures may be cause for dismissal.”

There are principals and other administrators that don’t know or don’t care about Education Code, district policies or regulations and just make up “procedures” as it suits their current screw-up. Let’s put the Orwellian label where it belongs—on poorly-selected administrators that ride roughshod over students and parents. Let me know if you want to see the documentation.
