Mayor Jerry Sanders and Councilwoman Donna Frye, who have often been political enemies since their 2005 election battle, are co-hosting a town meeting on pension reform next Wednesday at the Scripps Miramar Ranch Branch Library.

The meeting is scheduled a day after City Council is set to vote on whether the compromise on pension reform reached last month by Sanders and City Council President Scott Peters will go on the November ballot.

I guess Jerry and Donna are pretty confident the proposal will pass muster with the rest of council. The love fest is scheduled to go from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
