San Diego City Council just voted unanimously to put a permanent beach alcohol ban on the November ballot.
The measure championed by Councilman Kevin Faulconer and Council President Scott Peters follows the one-year trial ban that has been in place since December. Read our previous posts on the issue here and here.
The last time a booze ban was on the ballot — in 2002 — it was narrowly defeated.
