I’ve been calling SEDC all day, trying to get hold of the agency’s spokesman, Alexis Dixon.

Dixon was out of the office all morning. When I called again, just after 2 p.m., I got through to a voicemail recording saying that the office is currently closed.

The main reason Dixon has given me for his agency’s inability to provide me with the documents I have requested under the California Public Records Act, is that SEDC employees have been “swamped” with work.
