Mayor Jerry Sanders is holding a series of town hall meetings in each council district to talk about the challenges facing San Diego’s water supplies: the need for saving water, the ongoing drought and the possibility the region will face stricter conservation requirements next year.

The meetings start next Monday and all run from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Here’s a rundown:

Sept. 29, Memorial Academy, 2850 Logan Ave.; Oct. 1, Allied Gardens Recreation Center, 5155 Greenbrier Ave.; Oct. 2, Point Loma/Hervey Branch Library, 3901 Voltaire St.; Oct. 6, Mira Mesa Branch Library, 8405 New Salem St.; Oct. 7, LiveWell San Diego, 4425 Bannock Ave.; Oct. 8, Jacobs Community Center, 404 N. Euclid Ave.; Oct. 16, La Jolla/Riford Branch Library, 7555 Draper Ave.; Oct. 21, City Heights/Weingart Branch Library, 3795 Fairmount Ave.
