The jury in the controversial trial involving four firefighters, who claim they were sexually harassed when they were ordered to take part in last summer’s Gay Pride Parade and were then mistreated at work for bringing complaints, has hung on the sexual harassment claim, Mike Aguirre just told me.
The jury has a verdict on the claim that the firefighters were retaliated against for bringing the complaints, Aguirre said. I’m waiting to find out what that verdict is.
Aguirre, who is running a hotly contested reelection campaign against challenger Jan Goldsmith, has a lot riding on the lawsuit. I wrote about the case in this story a couple of weeks ago.
