Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008 | Kudos to new City Councilman Carl DeMaio for great beginnings. Though only in yesterday, he has already hosted several public forums, proposed in depth ideas for budget reform, and has an item docketed for a vote at the first meeting of the new City Council today. He even stepped outside the box at the swearing-in ceremony yesterday by electing to play a video of his constituents expressing their own priorities for reform instead of giving a speech.
Carl really has a knack for getting things done and brings a much needed fresh perspective to City Hall.
