Monday, Dec. 29, 2008 | Has anyone taken notice of the number of former city and state politicans, as well as employees, who either work currently or have worked in the past for JMI Realty, or are personally involved with its owners? When is the public going to wake up to the purchase of influence, and conflict of interest these current and former “public servants” are offering for sale to big money developers? CCDC; current and former city council members, Sunroad Enterprises, former city department head(s); sports facilities, city manager, and the list goes on.
Is it just a coincidence that these former public employees are hired by local developers, or is it part of the developer’s attempts to ram their proposals through local government with less public scrutiny? Has anyone else taken notice of this?
