I appeared yesterday on NBC7/39’s afternoon news broadcast to talk about the inevitable water cuts that are expected to come to the region in July.

The Los Angeles-based Metropolitan Water District, this region’s major supplier, will consider in April whether to reduce deliveries to San Diego and other Southern California cities. If those expected cuts start in July, city residents would have to reduce use to avoid heavy financial penalties. The city is developing a methodology to reduce water use.
