The blog FierceWireless is reporting that Qualcomm and Nokia, companies that less than a year ago were still fighting bitter legal battles over patents, will work together on a new cell phone.

The Nokia phone, which is scheduled for release in mid-2010, will utilize Qualcomm’s “Mobile Station Modem” chipsets. The collaboration between the two wireless behemoths comes nearly seven months after the wireless behemoths resolved a three-year court battle over the amount Qualcomm charged for its patent licenses.
