The City Council’s audit committee got an update today on the ongoing performance audit of the Centre City Development Corp.
The firm, Sjoberg Evashenk, reported that it’s 24 percent finished.
The PowerPoint presentation prepared for the committee gives some insight about what the auditors are looking at. No surprises here. The auditors are looking at CCDC’s conflict of interest policies; the agency’s compensation practices; and its procurement and contracting processes. That’s just a sampling.
The audit, which Mayor Jerry Sanders ordered on the day last summer that former CCDC President Nancy Graham resigned, is expected in June.
