Thanks for your comment. Southern California Edison, which runs San Onofre, told reporters in January 2008 that it fired or disciplined seven workers at the nuclear plant after the Nuclear Regulatory Commission uncovered several instances of “willful” misconduct. It’s hard to say how many others might have known about — or should have known about — the misconduct, and that suffered no ill-effects.

I am not related to Linda Douglass, a broadcast journalist who is considerably better known than I am. It’s odd to have two ‘S’ on the last name, but I have found more than a few out there. If we’re all related somehow, it is far beyond the family tree I’m familiar with.
