KPBS’s These Days hosted a nice long segment yesterday morning on the region’s water crisis. I was joined by Alex Ruiz, the San Diego Water Department’s assistant director and Bob Yamada, the San Diego County Water Authority’s water resources manager.

Yamada offered this intriguing sound bite late in the program: “The era of big lawns is over.”
