A photojournalist never really knows what to expect from day to day, assignment to assignment. Heading out to the Parkway Pool in Chula Vista on Monday to illustrate reporter Rob Davis‘ story on how San Diego will spend stimulus money, I was hoping there would be at least someone in the pool to give a face to the photo.
