Just a quick update: The idea of asking parents to voluntarily pay for Advanced Placement exams, floated by school board member John Lee Evans, split the school board at their meeting last night 2-2. That means it hasn’t been approved, but it didn’t actually fail either. School board member John de Beck didn’t vote, saying the non-binding motion was pointless.
