Xconomy’s Bruce Bigelow kicked off the day with a particularly good roundup of last week’s happenings in San Diego’s technology industry. He leads with some details about the patent suit peace treaty Qualcomm signed with rival Broadcom last week.

Also noted in the roundup was the bad (and strange) news about Sequenom, a locally based medical diagnostic company, “mishandling” data from in-house studies on its Down syndrome test.
