A potential project labor agreement between San Diego Unified and construction unions for work on its $2.1 billion facilities bond is slated to be discussed by the school board Tuesday. The meeting agenda lists it as a first reading and does not include a copy of the planned agreement.
Reached earlier in the week, school board member Richard Barrera said that the agreement was not yet negotiated but would be put on the school board agenda for Tuesday in case negotiations had concluded by then. I’m checking with labor representatives and the school district about whether an agreement has actually been reached. I’ll post an update if I hear anything.
