I recently started calling on guest bloggers to join me here in Credentialed to post their own photos and show us their perspective on the world through a series of photos. The idea was born from these photos, sent to me by State Assemblywoman Lori Saldaña.

Today I’m pleased to welcome our first guest host, the secretary-treasurer of the San Diego Imperial-Counties Labor Council, Lorena Gonzalez.

This is Lorena’s blog for the day. We’re hoping this new feature will provide an inside look into the everyday lives of interesting San Diegans. The primary idea: Show the world for a day through the eyes of someone else. You’re free (and encouraged) to leave your thoughts in the comments section.

If you think you or someone you know would make a good guest blogger, feel free to shoot me an e-mail at sam.hodgson@voiceofsandiego.org.

Lorena’s first blog post is on its way.

(Update: Lorena’s been blogging away steadily throughout the day. To see her photos, head over to Credentialed.)
