I popped by our media partner NBC7/39 earlier this week to talk about the San Diego County Water Authority’s evaluation of Camp Pendleton as a possible site for a seawater desalination plant. The authority is considering a $1.2 billion to $1.9 billion project that would come online in 2018 and convert as much as 150 million gallons of seawater into drinking water each day. Check it out:
