Tuesday, June 9, 2009 | In regards to Superintendent Terry Grier’s statement in the Federal Money for Disadvantaged Kids Used to Pay for Venison, Lobbying article:

“Have you ever tried to eat on $25?” Grier asked a reporter. “I promise you it is very difficult to do.”

I feed my family of four for $25 or less when we eat out — of course we are not eating venison, wagyu and striped bass.

This is another example of a bureaucrat out of touch with reality and assuming that no one will notice where the money is really spent.

Thanks for keeping track and trying to set things right.

It’s due to things like this that people don’t vote for school bond measures.
