So much for John Davies replacing Alan Bersin on the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority’s board. The local attorney has withdrawn his name from consideration for the appointment, which had been scheduled for a City Council vote this afternoon.

No word yet on who the Mayor’s Office will nominate next.
