Last Friday, for the weekly radio show, I had a pretty good discussion with former city land-use czar Jim Waring. We tried to pack a lot into the 22 short minutes.

Waring is kind of a lightning rod among city activists but I’ve admired his thinking and his willingness to stand by his decisions.

We talked about infrastructure needs in San Diego, leadership and what to do with the downtown library and City Hall.
