Friday, July 17, 2009 | Great article about David! I worked with him in the past … when the district actually supported, for whatever reason, parent involvement to a point. David has worked very hard and is a great parent who cares not only for his own children, but for our collective children.
Mitz Lee has actually started an organization that serves to help parents advocate for their children and works to get a quality education for all kids. She is moving on to carry out her goal of improving education for all children which she began as a parent activist, continued as a board member and is now going back to an organized grass roots kind of advocate but with an organization that provides information and leadership in advocating for all of our collective students. http://www.allforqualityed.org/index.html
