Xconomy’s Bruce Bigelow today is today relaying what scant information he can on a new biotech on the block. The company, Helicon Therapeutics, develops drugs to treat memory disorders and was founded in New York. That much can be gleaned from the company’s website.

Beyond that, Bigelow reports that the company has raised $50 million and moved to San Diego in either late 2007 or early 2008. Bigelow said he couldn’t get much more info on the company mainly because he can’t get CEO Kenneth E. Johns Jr. to call or e-mail him back.
