I had put a couple calls in to San Diego City Councilwoman Donna Frye’s office for my story on potential competitive elections for San Diego County supervisor races.

Frye has been said to be considering running in 2010 for the District 4 seat occupied by four-term incumbent Ron Roberts. Just heard back from Mark Sauer, Frye’s council representative. Frye hasn’t made a decision.

“She’s still mulling that over,” Sauer said.

Already announced as challengers in that race are school board President Shelia Jackson and State Assemblywoman Lori Saldaña. Roberts is a Republican and Jackson, Saldaña and Frye are Democrats.
