- The Union-Tribune writes that the back-to-school event that got school board member Shelia Jackson in hot water is back and it’s getting more money this time. School board member John de Beck dubs it “the Shelia Show.”
- The U-T also reports that nine early childhood experts had to leave advisory panels for First 5, which distributes money for early childhood programs, after rule changes meant to prevent conflicts of interest. We blogged about one such departure yesterday.
