My photo of the day was shot with a telefoto lens from Kettner Boulevard looking towards the airport.

Carlos Chavez, who runs his own Photo of the Day blog, sent this image, taken, he says, “at the Torrey Pines Science Park early in the morning during a dense fog.”

Here’s the story:
I’m sending my picture of the day to share with whomever will enjoy a fun but creepy accident of a picture. I was taking a picture of a spider that my daughter and i go feed every once and a while. When the flash went off, i was startled by the face of my daughter right behind the spider. it was fairly dark outside, and i didnt see her slip in behind the web. She loves that creepy thing.
