At the end of any NFL game, chaos ensues on the field. Players and coaches rush to shake hands and give a few back pats. And us media types all hustle off the sidelines and try not to get run over by the 300-pound men who are either extremely happy about a victory or really angry about a loss.
Yesterday, while shooting the post-game action, I saw Dolphins running back Ricky Williams approach Chargers head coach Norv Turner. I sprinted over and crouched into position for a photograph. Uncharacteristically for any player or coach, Turner turned to me right away and posed. “Send me a copy of that photo, will you?” he said.
Well, Norv, here’s your picture. It’s our photo of the day.
