Today’s Photo of the Day is an image of a homeless cat named TC. You may have seen him before, in the back of an image I shared in this space earlier this year.
In that picture, 21-year-old Diana Woods was holding onto the cat as she sat outside City Hall with 18-year-old Joshua Turner, both of whom were homeless at the time.
I’ve wanted to share this image since that day in October. TC is emblematic of an often-overlooked component to homelessness — animals are often involved.
