I’ve steered away recently from taking too many fan photos at Qualcomm Stadium. I’ve found that in previous seasons, it’s been a distraction for me, which has taken away from the quality of photos on the field. Not to mention, every time I point a camera at a fan (or just about anyone for that matter) they strike a pose.
But when Nate Kaeding put the final kick through the uprights last night, I couldn’t help but turn my camera to the fans, who were going completely berserk. There was a lot of energy in the stadium throughout the whole game and the fans seemed to play a big role in shutting down communication between Carson Palmer and his offense.
