Each morning, my cup of coffee coincides with a furious attempt to summarize the daily political news in San Diego from as many media sources as I can find. The result, our weekday roundup called “The Agenda” is nearing its six-month mark. As is another feature, called “Public Comment.” That’s my effort to highlight a significant issue on San Diego’s City Council docket and link to all the council agendas for your perusal.

I want your feedback on how we can make both features more interesting and useful. We tried something new with Public Comment this week, listing the issue to watch on the council agenda first and linking the agendas below. We’re hoping that change could inspire more discussion than the crickets that now make up the weekly response.

Do you like both features? Should we keep them? And if yes, what could we do to make them better? I’ll end with the usual spiel I have in Public Comment. Questions? Comments? Derogatory remarks? E-mail me or tweet me. Also, the comment box is open.
