After the referee sounds the final whistle and fans and players file out of Qualcomm Stadium, the complex takes on a new feeling.
It doesn’t matter whether the Chargers win or lose. The Q simply deflates. A stadium that was loud and full of energy hours earlier gets quiet and empty.
I set out to capture that feeling Sunday night.
