VOSD needs your help. We are a member-supported public service. Every donation is important to us, whether it is $5 or $5,000. Your donation shows community support and increases our diversity of revenue, thus increasing our credibility and reinforcing our independence.

Thank you to those who responded to VOSD’s membership plea last week. We have received 12 brand-new donors and several of our past supporters stepped up, too. Our total number of donor/members is 1,104. We’d love to break 1,500 this summer … can you help us out?

If you haven’t yet responded, it’s not too late. We still need your help to stay on target with our revenue goals for the year so that we can fund our investigative reporters.

Also, now members at $75 or more can enjoy our new promotion that gives you a special message on our daily Morning Report that goes out to more than 5,200 readers daily. Use it to promote your business or nonprofit, wish someone a happy birthday, or whatever 75 character message you create.

VOSD is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. If you’ve come to anticipate our daily reporting and our efforts to make sense of the debates that affect our quality of life, please help us keep it going.

Checks can be mailed to:

voiceofsandiego.org

2508 Historic Decatur Rd., Suite 120

San Diego, CA 92106

And, you can always make an online donation here.

In case you missed last week’s cartoon, it’s posted with this update. Thanks again for your support.
